EUROPE, June 21, 2011 - BenQ took part in one of the worlds’ largest gaming events and LAN parties – DreamHack Summer 2011 that was held June 18-21, 2011 in Elmia – Jönköping, Sweden.

BenQ understands needs of professional gamers and brings high quality monitors into the gaming market. Developed with close support of CS legends BenQ's XL2410T, as well as other LCD monitors, were presented at Dream Store and caught a lot of attention not only from professional gamers but also from those who dream to become the one.

Together with “Stockholm E-Sports production” BenQ arranged a streaming set up with Emil ‘HeatoN’ who has already become a much respected commentator for E-sport.

At the “STHLM E-sport production” booth BenQ also had a Shoot-out set up for CS: all interested gamers could just come and try BenQ’s XL2410T gaming monitors in playing.

“STHLM E-sport production” had over 700.000 viewers on their streaming during DreamHack Summer 2011. They also showed all CS games of Inferno’s online CS tournament Final 4 which was sponsored by BenQ as well.

“StarTale” – the TOP Korean team in StarCraft 2 sponsored by BenQ - also participated in DreamHack Summer 2011 and earned the third (StarTale_Bomber) and the forth (StarTale_July) places after the strong competition in semi-finals.
